Our unique 11 style dance syllabus

We believe that all dance helps improve all dance. Each style brings a new understanding of how to move your body and gives a new texture to the style danced - each element you learn helps improve the next style the dancer pursues. As a teacher, the more knowledge you have of a variety of styles, the better teacher you will become.

Combining the high energy dance styles to develop speed, control and some oomph behind their movements.

These styles are:

Megadance - this is a high energy, fast moving style that requires speed and strength with the elegance of control and effortlessness.

Hip Hop - using current and trending hip hop moves, we are wanting to build a solid body rhythm and style with this style.

Afro Fusion - bringing the dancer into our proudly South African heritage, we explore the afro styles of Pantsula, Kwaito, Amapiano and more.

Street Styles

With the popularity of 'hip hop' dancing all over the world, we wanted to create a syllabus that teaches the foundations of each style that makes up hip hop as a style. This further educates the teacher in the history of where each hip hop style and move comes from, to further understand how to use it in today's routines for their pupils.

The different styles taught are:

Afro Beats

Popping

Locking

Animation

Hip Hop Foundation

Krumping

Breakdance
